Full Moon Kayak Tour: Night Paddling on Newport Bay
Looking for the most magical evening adventure near the beach? Our Full Moon Kayak Tour offers a rare opportunity to experience the coastal waters after hours. Taking place at our serene Newport Bay and Ayers Creek location, this exclusive tour is the ultimate way to witness the marsh completely transformed by the night sky.
This tour is perfect for couples looking for a unique date night, photographers capturing the night sky, or anyone wanting a peaceful escape from the busy Ocean City boardwalk.
Sunset, Twilight, & The Moonrise
This experience is essentially an extended version of our popular sunset tour, designed to give you the absolute best of both worlds:
The Golden Hour: We launch just before dark, allowing you to enjoy a stunning Maryland sunset over the salt marsh.
The Twilight Transition: As the sun dips below the horizon, watch the colors fade into twilight and listen to the nighttime wildlife begin to wake up.
The Grand Finale: We extend our time on the water so you can witness the breathtaking sight of the full moon rising over the bay, casting a brilliant glow across the glassy, calm water.
A Safe, Guided Night Experience
Paddling after dark might sound intimidating, but we make it safe, easy, and relaxing:
Guided Navigation: Our expert guides know these tidal creeks inside and out, ensuring a safe route through the calm, sheltered waters.
Lights Provided: We provide all necessary safety lighting for your kayak, keeping everyone visible while still preserving your night vision to take in the stars.
Calm & Peaceful: With no daytime boat traffic or distractions, you will experience the ultimate stillness of the coastal bays.
Note on Availability: Because this tour relies on the lunar cycle, spaces are extremely limited and only run around the actual dates of the full moon each month.
